Sleep Apnea.

If you are one of the many people with sleep apnea, we offer treatment that can improve your quality of life and provide relief.

Dr. Trost offers oral-therapy appliances that are simple and comfortable. These non-surgical sleep apnea appliances shift your lower jaw forward and open your airway during sleep. In return, you reduce snoring and improve breathing. By enjoying a better night’s sleep - you can potentially add years to your life and improve your energy throughout the day.

HOW IT WORKS

A comfortable, custom-fitted oral appliance is worn while sleeping. It helps to optimize your airway by positioning your jaw for better breathing.

DR. TROST CAN GUIDE YOU

She has undergone extensive training that focuses specifically on sleep apnea and airway obstruction identification and treatment. This allows her to offer patients a personalized oral therapy solution and device.

Consultation - examination and screening of your upper airway space and structures.

Testing - by utilizing convenient methodology such as a digital scan and a sleep study, we are able to identify if you are a good candidate for an oral appliance. By working in partnership with your medical doctor, ENT, or sleep physician, these tests are interpreted and will help to determine the most effective course of treatment.

Impressions - once you have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, digital impressions will be made of your mouth and bite. These are then sent to a trusted lab for technicians to fabricate your custom appliance.

Comfort and Wear - this simple device will be delivered to you with instructions on how to wear it and take care of it.

Follow-up - to ensure success, when you return to check the effectiveness of your oral appliance, Dr. Trost will be able to measure your improvement and share these results with your medical team.
